Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.
The mopping performance is less impressive, but not by a lot. The mop rotates quickly and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and along baseboards.
